Mild milk coffee for coffee beginners
Bạc Xỉu is the mild version of Cà Phê Sữa Đá: more condensed milk, less coffee – perfect for anyone who prefers something less intense.
Add 3-4 tbsp sweetened condensed milk and a little milk to taste into a glass.
Place the Phin filter with 1-1.5 tbsp coffee grounds on top of the glass.
First pour a little hot water to let the grounds bloom, wait briefly, then top up with the rest of the water.
Let the coffee drip through, then stir it well together with the condensed milk and milk.
Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the milky coffee over it.
Tip
Bạc Xỉu is a great way to start exploring Vietnamese coffee – if you later want it stronger, just reduce the amount of milk step by step towards Cà Phê Sữa Đá.
