Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk
The most famous Vietnamese coffee: strong Phin coffee, sweetened condensed milk and plenty of ice – refreshing and sweet-bitter at the same time.
Add 2-3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk directly to a glass or cup.
Place the Phin filter with 2-3 tbsp coffee grounds on top of the glass with the condensed milk.
First pour a little hot water to let the grounds bloom, wait briefly, then top up with the rest of the water.
Let the coffee drip directly over the condensed milk for 4-5 minutes.
Stir the coffee and condensed milk together until well combined. Fill a second glass generously with ice cubes and pour the sweetened coffee over it.
Tip
For an extra creamy version, froth the coffee briefly with a milk frother before serving until it gets a light foam crown.
